Dear Friend,

Thank you for joining us at The Scottish Parliament as we celebrated the life and legacy of Dunfermline’s most famous son, Andrew Carnegie.

Since 2010 we have been creating events which highlight the lasting impression he has left in his home town, in the areas of philanthropy, culture, education, peace, entrepreneurship and business.

As Dunfermline forges a new, confident future for itself, we wish to expand our activities.

Carnegie Days, in the vein of Carnegie, have proudly supported the work of Social Bite’s Josh Littlejohn as he attempts to eradicate homelessness in Edinburgh, a cause that would have been very close to Carnegie’s heart. As Carnegie Days moves forward and expands, it is our desire that the events we host will continue to enable us to support other philanthropic causes.

We hope you have enjoyed yourself at Holyrood and perhaps even found out a bit more about Carnegie and Dunfermline. If you wish to learn more about the work of Carnegie Days, or get involved in any of our activities, then please get in touch.

Best wishes

Thomas Moffat
